No. Nothing will be learnt and nothing will be done until there are illegal immigrant camps in Hyde Park.

You may be right TTG. They have just set up a luxury containment camp at Pease Cottage near Gatwick airport. Because of complaints that children were being held in secure centres they are now providing superior accommodation at taxpayers expense.
no, when you ain't got nothing you ain't got nothing to lose

rov1100 if you lived in a mud hut and had nothing would you not want to try and go to another country

if you could speak some english you would want to go to a country where english speaking people live in the hope of finding some work
Yes, they spend all day on their expensive computers and smartphones watching YouTube.

There might also be free wifi in the Gatwick Concentration Camp.
bet most of them have never seen a computer

wifi is that a choclate biscuit
chocolate
Dr Filth - I am going to remember that

when you aint got nothing you've got nothing to lose

It will put me in my place when I get uppity
Dr Filth , you evidently don't look very hard at these so-called refugees . Those I have seen from Africa (mainly Somalians) are NOT the starving people we see in the ads. for World Aid . I wouldn't mind so much if they were and really needed to get some help but they are not ,they are in my opinion economic refugees . Australia has already given approx. 100 million dollars to Somalia ,I bet their starving people don't see any of it . We came here over 45 years ago when Australia was needing people not just feeding them and we've worked from the first week we arrived until our retirement as have all our 4 children and their chidren. No dole bludgers in this family ,we expected nothing and received nothing .Let them come through the proper channels as we did .
Dolly some are some are not one that springs to mind has been nicknamed by the other people in the streets near to where he lives

they call him starvin marvin , i think you can guess why
Ric-ror it is from a bob dylan song

How does it feel
How does it feel
To be on your own
With no direction home
Like a complete unknown
Like a rolling stone?

Princess on the steeple and all the pretty people
They're drinking, thinking that they got it made
Exchanging all kinds of precious gifts and things
But you'd better lift your diamond ring, you'd better pawn it, babe
You used to be so amused
At Napoleon in rags and the language that he used
Go to him now, he calls you, you can't refuse
When you got nothing, you got nothing to lose
You're invisible now, you got no secrets to conceal
Dolly i completely agree, and if a person has thousands of pounds to pay to an illegal people smuggler, to get themselves from countries like China, India and those in somalia, to get to England by illegal means, why don't they use that money instead to buy themselves a better life there, instead of travelling thousands of miles away, leaving their loved ones and the life they know. Friends in Australia have told me there is an ever increasing problem with illegals and they are trying to do something about it, and going on the OP perhaps they just might.
so Dolly, you're an immigrant? Why did you move there? For a better life for you and your family?
Is it this Somalian economic refugees fault that the aid sent by Australia hasn't reached him? Should he not try to better his and his families chances of survival by leaving them in order to try and scrape a few bob to send home to them? Would you not expect any man to do the same? To do whatever he can for the health and safety for his wife and children.
em when you say china that money is a loan to a family the person who gets to the other country will work like a slave to pay the loan back
DF in which case why do it, when you know that you could be stuck in some hellhole in London's Chinatown or any Chinese business community across Britain, working all hours to pay back the money, it doesn't make sense.
DF i am familiar with that case, and any number of others, so i don't need a link.
read some of the reports on china's workers it will open your eyes

they have sock town, shirt town, pants town

the firm i worked at moved most of the production to china some went to india

they come here thinking they will get a better paid job and will be able to send some money home
em you only have to look back at the history of workers here, look at the irish that came over digging the canals

working 7 days a week for low wages, two families sharing a damp basement room in some slum in manchester

why did they come ?
seeing as how that was many of my ancestors came over from Ireland, they came perhaps for a better life, i can only go back so far, so i don't know for sure. What makes you think, or anyone for that matter, that my eyes are closed, they are wide open, i know a fair bit about the history of Britain, and i do know that many peoples have settled here over centuries. They have come out of economic need, and because of religious differences with the countries they were born into. I know enough of the Chinese gangs, and the underworld that pervades this country, the Triad, and any number of other gangs. The poorer chinese who come to make a new life, its unlikely to happen. As i have already stated Chinatown in London is a separate world, many don't speak english, and won't see the light of day, or the kind of life they were hoping for. To add, Britain's rising population is one of the reasons for stopping more people coming, 70 million people perhaps by 2020 or before if this continues, it cannot be sustained, not by a long way.
Shame they didn't have video back in 1770. They could post a video of the first illegal immigrants arriving from England.
