After more research I've plumped for SICAV (Societe d'Investissement A Capital Variable - a type of open-ended investment fund in which the amount of capital in the fund varies according to the number of investors). Bearing in mind, of course, the finacial nature of some of the clues.
The cross-checking clues are TISSUE (first S - Lies blow a nose); MACHINES - the C (A schema in manufacturing) and SAVINGS AND LOAN the V - ( Take in and give out). DCC.
