I have seen this question asked previously but have never seen it answered. Can anyone help please ?
Clue: Guards, e.g. aits, bere and neeps (6-5 letters) T????? T????
Hopefully some kind person can point me in the right direction - hint, clue, answer -any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Do both words have to begin with T ?
as it could possibly be a Tattie bogle
Scots word for a scarecrow
Aits bere and neeps are oats ,barley and turnips which a scarecrows would "guard " in the fields .

Thanks for your reply shaneystar2. On checking - No, BOTH words do not have to start with the letter T - The answer is T????? - ?????. My fault, sorry. I think your answer could well be the right one . Thank you very much for your help.
