My local newspaper had the headline....

"Baby found crawling in the road"

Then it went on to say that a 15 month old baby had, undetected by mummy, crawled out the house via the catflap and was making his way determinedly up the road!!!

Question Author
where is that boo my mum told me about that god that baby was lucky not to have got killed

A "DEVASTATING" blow to the countryside could be struck next week, when proposals to extract six lorry loads of gravel every working hour for five years are discussed. ..............WHAT A BORING AREA I LIVE
When we first moved here, the local newspaper had posters outside the newsagents saying, "Cheese Show - Pictures!" I thought we had ended up in proper bumpkin territory if that was the best they could find!
Dont read the local rag. But we have a historic ruined castle, nice parks. Very expensive houses. Nice schools. Saved for years to move here.
I live in Leicester so the local papers headlines are about maddie every day!
Quite a few of our friends laughed when we moved here, because we could get so much more for our money, house-wise. Three or four years later, most of them have moved out here too, and our house is now bigger than all of theirs because we moved before prices shot up. Ha! Take that!

We love them all dearly of course.

I live on the edge of the New Forest. It really is lovely and I'm very lucky, it's nice area and virtually no trouble. It's only downside is it's very expensive, I'd like a bigger house but even ex council houses are over 200,000 now.

"Toon future in their hands"
the headline on my local rag is "parents denied schools choice"

I live in the south of birmingham about 10 mins from the city centre, generally its typically cityish with the usual problems of drugs/alcohol, there are a lot of polish people living here as well, the local paper even has a polish column now, there is also a polish supermarket just opened near town
I worry about the trains in Lancashire, it gets very dark ooop there and the drivers have little protection. I suppose it gets a lot worse when they try the descent into Glasgee from Shap, but nonetheless I worry.
I live just on the border of Lancashire and Yorkshire at the foot of the Pennines, Gods country.
Do you know any good campsites up there, Puss? We've never got that far up from Zummerzet, and would love to.
I too live in Leicestershire, not far from Rothley. And my local newspaper headlines are about missing Maddie.
