Bobbie, someone else posted something similar,

but
my SIL brother had a terrible accident, got hit by a car
whilst on his mobility scooter, he sustained 4
breaks to his spine and multiple injuries and wasn't expected to make it

however he woke up as though from a coma and may
yet survive. He asked for a beer, which made them all
laugh including the staff.
