Not sure if this is the right area to put this question in, but here goes anyway. I know that I have seen a dictionary of slang online but not sure where it is, or what its' name is. I know I could Google it but would rather ask all you for your kind help here first.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Do you mean like the 'Urban dictionary'?

Urban Dictionary is good fun, I use it a lot. You should however be aware that anybody is allowed to contribute and many of the definitions are written as pranks, probably aimed at friends, bosses, neighbours, ex-lovers and so on. Or just generally meant to be funny or provocative. Almost every word you look up seems to have at least one such contribution, often several, and they have very little to do with how the word in question is actually being used by the rest of the world - even in slang. That said, I've learned a lot there!
