Does anyone know what the requirements are regarding the number of actual hours you need to spend in a childcare workplace and how many different places you have to work at. Thanks (PS - I don't want to do one, just want the information.)

For the Cache Level 2 qualification it's 390 hours (no mention of if this needs to be in different places), for the NVQ2 the candidate must be working (could be voluntary) in a childcare setting for 8 hours a week; the website I found says it takes between 1-2 years to complete an NVQ2 so the number of hours would depend on the person I suppose. Also, the NVQ2 is designed for people already working so would assume only 1 place would be required to complete it.
