what can i write inside a card to a couple who are returning back to their first home in australia, after living over here for nearly 3 years? it cant be a new home card obviously, their daughters lived in their house while they have been away. i want to say some nice words to wish them well on their return. dont know if there is a suitable card out there either, with words on the front, not sure about good luck, goodbye. any ideas please?

There are some lovely cards around that are blank inside so you can write your own message, or how about a "We'll miss you" card?

i cant send a miss you card as we already said goodbye long ago and we havent seen them in ages, they moved miles away in the uk before leaving now for good for oz.

thanks boxtops thats a good start. it looks like i will have a blank card to fill so am looking for inspiration. wondered if there was a site i could go on to that has ideas for wording things for example: re sympathy, love letters etc.

You could add something like: 'While you won't be in the UK anymore, you'll always be in our(my) thoughts.'
