Some restaurants have started having the piddle mints in little wrappers.

Are we all paranoid?

It's a pain, because ... what do you do with the wrappers?

And ... what are we going to call them in the future?

Really, boxy ?

They have a bowl of mints on the counter.

After their meal, diners go to the loo, and then dip in for a mint.

You just kind of suspect that someone before you will have used the loo ...

... and not washed their hands.

Hence ... piddle mints.

I think most people call them piddle mints.

Oh, even worse, Boxy ...

With the Bombay Mix, people really dig their fingers in to get hold of it.

Yuck.

All those unwashed hands, dirty nails, and wee fingers.
How come Health & Safety won't let you play conkers but they alllow this bar-top stuff...? Bleah!

...and I'd forgotten all about the piddle mint thread four years ago, JJ - see below! - I've still never even seen mints in the loo, let alone heard anyone else call free mints by that name.
