I feel lonely this christmas...

I spent 10 years on IRC (irc.quakenet.org) and had hundreds of friends, especially at christmas. Now I don't have anything as fair as the internet is concerned :/

It is a tricky subject, I used to be an administrator of non IRC advice/support on Quakenet. The server is like this 'site' thousands of users, editors, administrators etc. I was top of the list, governing nearly a million users, supporting them and offering networking/systems advice. An admin above me had an issue with me and I decided to leave because I was unwilling to contend his decision to remove me from certain services.

I know around 200 people abroad, IRC was amazing and I also got a job in IT because of it. Being an IRCop on Quakenet can be added to a CV and will help towards an I.T career.
