There are many weary and well-trodden euphamisms for this but do you know of a more obscure one, maybe only used by one person you know?  For example, my grandmother would go to "shed a tear for Nelson".

My dad used to refer to 'turning his bike round' or 'waxing his skis', so much nicer than 'parking your breakfast'!

here's a few: Pinch a loaf, drop mud, send a sausage to the seaside, water the horses, point percy at the porcelin.

The saying is, 'I've got the turtle's head', which means you need to go. Another is 'I'm touching cloth'. I've also heard 'I'm off to lay a bag of turf,'. And once someone shouted through the toilet door, 'Hurry up - nip it short.' Some people can be so crass.

When on my D of E Gold Award (in Scotland) we used to talk about "going for a wee walk".
Take a short brown dog for a long swim.

Giving birth to a baby otter

I've heard "wetting the lettuce" a couple of times. Also in the Black Country the older people sometimes say "I'm going to ground".
