my nan always used to come out with this everytime something was going wrong "jesus to Murgatroyd " not sure if it's spelt right.We used to laugh at her but I've always wondered what it meant.Anyone any ideas?

Thank goodness, someone else has heard of this saying! My mum always says "Heavens to Murgatroyd" and I just thought she was batty!
