"Kiss my nether regions" - as I'm sure you know - only 'nether regions' is my polite way of saying what it truly means.
As the enviable knowldgable QM advises, the phrase does mean 'Kiss my *&se' in Gaelic - it was the original name for Irish band The Pogues, but they changed it, in the interests of radio play for their records.
It's spelt "Pg mo thin".
Andy - The Pogues had also been called The N*pple Erectors at one stage. That wouldn't have got them much airplay either. That was changed to The Nips.
Nipple Erectors? Surely that breaks the trades description act looking at that lot ;-)
I would rather kiss Shane McGowan's 'nether regions' than that festering mouth of his.
