I don't think that's far off as I put the phrase into an online translator and got: "foolishly doctrine to scorn".

anyway - stulti - stupid people
(my sister's Latin teacher Grogz, used to say. stulta puella - stupid girl)

doctrinam - teaching or doctrine

spernunt - they spurn (same root) despise, reject
