Going back to the earlier question zyzygy, I, like ssmart, who gave the answer - where did you find it? - can't find it in any dicitonary spelt with a z. It's correctly spelt syzygy. I'd be interested to know if any authority offers the z spelling as an acceptable alternative.

I'm sure its only spelt with an s.
ZYZYGY is a real word. I cannot find it in any dictionary, but I have an assignment which requires to find this ord and the teacher says it is a word. I found the meaning of it being celestial alignment of planets and their sun. It is also Viridian's first full-length recording recorded in late October ad early December and augmented in 1999. Now which dictionary it is I m still clueless. The teacher has told me that it is in the unabridged, but it is not.
