Very interesting reading about the netty but what do they call the toilet, w.c. lavatory, loo etc in your area?

A variety....Cludgy and Bog would be the most suitable ones for a family website.
In Yorkshire it is definitely the "bog", or more precisely 'am off t'bog
Carsey is a nice London one, simply from Spanish casa, house, but I think a second word was dropped... Also, I'll add 'crapper' was a coincidence, as when Thomas Crapper made toilets the word had been around for hundreds of years already- maybe it inspired his choice of profession?
I always thought Carsey/Khazi was a word derived from our wonderful British Empire troops' time in India?
