A painter was repainting the sign at my local the Pig and whistle but he forgot to leave a space between Pig and and and and and whistle.

You could use it in any similar situation.

No, it can be done but I have forgotten it,, there is no trick
I think the word is "had" and I've seen it in a grammatically coherent sentence 10 times in succession. Can't remember what the sentence is, though.
Got it:

James, while John had had "had", had had "had had"; "had had" had had a better effect on the teacher.
And, yes, I am aware that "had" appears 11 times in succession, not 10.
You really need inverted commas around some words in the multi-and sentence as well...
He forgot to leave a space between 'Pig' and 'and' and 'and' and 'Whistle'.
