Just watches 15 mins of this and found the acting appalling. It feels like it was made about 40 years ago very amateurish. Am I alone in this. Just switched off

I watched it when it was first broadcast and was disappointed
Shame, it should be good with the cast
I'm fed up with the mobiles going off every five minutes !
I too gave up.

I was impressed by the cast. But disappointed watching it. I didn't realise that it had been on before
It was on Britbox, a subscription channel
I watched it but found the acting very wooden. Disappointing.
I don't think the script helped. At times it was as though it had been written for a children's program.
I felt as though Roger Allam (wasted, much better as Thursday) was trying to do an impersonation of Neil Dudgeon in Midsomer Murders!!
I lasted a bit more than 15 mins, but I too switched off. Found the beginning rather confusing as is one was supposed to know the characters and their relationships from prior viewing, which I had not done. So slow in development of storyline. Shame as Roger Allam is usually very good.
Was looking forward to this - what a disappointment. Switched off after half an hour.
