morning, Saturday and the weekend rolls around, i hope that you are all as well as can be, if you are not then you have my sympathy, and that your day is a pleasant one, do you have any plans for today? My mate is dropping round for a coffee later this afternoon, which will be nice. She is helping me in so many ways, as i am still unable to do much for myself, due to the knee problem.

Good morning to you emmie.
No waiting for a reply today ;) Looking forward to sunshine today and getting some washing out - I know how to live it up!
Bice for you to have a good friend and look forward to her visit.
Question Author
morning Choux, are you well? Its good to have such a good mate, she has been invaluable whilst i am more or less laid up
^ Nice (who put the b next to the n?)
Question Author
i know what you meant, what you doing up at this hour of the morning?
Not too bad thanks. Have been waiting for a hospital appointment for a long time now but then I see the news in Ukraine and think I have nothing to complain about. Have seen a different doc at my GP's and ask for him now rather than my usual one. He is young(er) and seems interested and keen to help. Mind you, getting an appointment with him is still proving to be a waiting game.
Question Author
what are you having done? -
I don't sleep as such, just catnap really. Sorry you have such acute pain now, not much fun is it. Mobility is so often taken for granted and it cannot be nice to have virtually lost it. Roll on your appointments.
I wont go into that here, emmie. You will understand.
Question Author
i know what you are going through, i have so far spent 5 months getting to the point of seeing an Orthopedic doctor on the 29th March about my arthritis whether it means surgery or not.
Question Author
i do understand, sorry to ask....
I am not offended, emmie :)
Your mate sounds like me - a coffee drinker, we would get on well I think. I drink it non-stop throughout the day/night. It doesn't make me stay awake nor be hyper. Cannot remember the last time I had a cup of tea.
I hope that once you have met your orthopedic surgeon things will go somewhat quicker for you. It is a long time getting to that appointment and meanwhile the pain continues to affect you so severely. You have my sympathy and some.
Question Author
she drinks tea more than coffee, those green teas, which i don't have or care for as i don't take milk she has to bring some if she wants an ordinary tea. I only drink black coffee, im on my second one, though i don't usually have any more in the day.
Never would try a green tea or the like. My best friend loves those type of drinks and I have given her many a tinned selection of them which she loves. Just so long as I don't have to try them I am happy for her.
Question Author
thank you, i hope that it goes well as i feel somewhat vulnerable as i am unable to do many chores which i would have had no problem before.
In that case, emmie, you and I would get along well ;)
Question Author
me too, i can't drink any kind of tea, makes me heave.
This is going along like the 2 Ronnies sketches - answering the question before!
Question Author
i am sure that we would get along fine, it's good to have company especially as it's early and there aren't always people about at this time.
I really am grateful to have my mobility still and though I am slowing up a bit I try hard not to take it for granted.
