I do, it's "Be Nice." Says it all really.
My old school motto was 'fair mon devor' spelling probably wrong, but was told it meant 'do my duty'

That has always stuck with me.

Also there is the old addage of 'procrastination is a waste of time'
Don't get out of bed unless really necessary.

no worries

don't worry, be happy

whatever gets you through the night... (as long as its not hurting anyone of course!)

treat your family like friends, and your friends like family

on your deathbed, you will more likely regret the things you didn't do more than the things you did

It used to be 'don't worry, be happy' but it's now changed to 'don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today'. I quite like 'I won't die even if they kill me' though and plan to adopt that at some point in the near future.

my current one is "stability is an illusion, control is an illusion, learn to dance on the crest of the wave"

I also like "Insanity: doing the same thing over again and expecting a different result" which I got off a thread on here

I read Susan Jeffers book, 'Feel the Fear And Do It Anyway'. I've forgotten most of the book, but I try and live by the title. It's helped quite a bit with my shyness.
I used to have a card on my office wall that said, " If you can't learn to do it well learn to enjoy doing it badly"
Mine is "I'll try anything twice - once to try it, two to check if I like it"

Beware of all enterprises that require new clothing

Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they're not out to get you!

Seriously, the only thing my maths teacher ever managed to make sink in was 'have the courage of your convictions' which I try to do. I sometimes regret this, as I hear myself saying things I perhaps shouldn't!

If your ship doesn't come in, swim out to it!!
Lately I'm using "there's no pockets in a shroud" quite a bit, but I think that's to convince myself that I'm not really spending too much.
What does DOE mean?
I like one my Grandma used tosay to me,"Do as you would be done by" It usually works.
Choose to be right. If you can't, choose to be happy.

"Love thy self and thy neighbour can't resist you!"

and also...

"Some people say life is what you make of it, I say other people make your life"

They're both self-penned and I'm rather proud to live my life by them :o)

I quite like 'Carpe Diem' which I believe means 'Seize the Day'. Is especially relevant nowadays with all the natural and man-made disasters going on that you should try and enjoy each day as if it was your last.
I have suffered quite a bit and for lengthy periods, and I commend "Even this will pass".
do unto others and then scarper !!!
