can anyone help me? I want to get a tattoo that says 'darling mother/mum' in welsh as my mum has recently passed away. I know that 'cariad' is welsh for darling, but think it is in a romantic sense. much appreciated - ta

'Annwyl' means dear or beloved, if that helps.

Cariad is darling but you could use Cariad Mam which is darling mum, that would then be ok, well thats what my welsh bloods tells me lol.
