Vickyjune,
Do all the answers contain the word summer or time or are they just connected in some way to summertime ?
Fibonacci: They're all related to Summer in some way.
This is one of several questions that have still got me scratching my head. I can only think that it relates to the old saying: Ne'er cast a clout till May's out. I just can't see how with the clue length given.
Thanks for replying Midnighter. I will keep thinking as well ??
iffy .....fishing? theres a clout fly rod
summertime from porgy and bess
oops wrong place sorry x
I think I may have figured it out, the clue could be referring to two old sayings: 'Ne'er cast a clout...' and 'One swallow does not make a Summer'. Which would make the answer swallow.
don't cast a clout er May is out
