The expression Dod shop (meaning sweet shop). 

Has any one else heard this or indeed was it just used within my family

Did this come from East Anglia, what are its origins or is it just a blurred memory warped by the excesses of youth.

I'm from the 'Fens' and I remember it, I grew up in the 70's and 80's and definitely used this expression! wow, havent heard it for years hahha
