Music while you work

There is an ad on tv at the moment where birds tidy a kitchen whilst the lady of the house eats toast (I can't remember what they are advertising) The music was the theme tune to 'Music while you work' which was on the radio years ago. Someone wrote words to this music which included the line ' cos that's the only thing he really can do' Does anyone know what the full lyrics are please?

The Ad you are referring too is for Country Life butter.

The Theme is for "Housewife's Choice" and is called "In Party Mood"

The tune you are referring to is called "Calling All Workers" and is  similar sounding. I also made the mistake when I first heard it.

Thanks kwillmott. I always thought it was music while you work! I was only young at the time though!

Oh I love that music - it gives me 'flashbacks' of being surrounded by table & chair legs, I was small too!!
