Can anybody help me remember this poem (I think!) Each, peach, pear, plum, I spy Tom Thumb, Tom Thumb in the wood, I spy Robin Hood, Robin Hood - what? And the rest?

I remember the opening line but dont know if I ever knew the resr so a quick google has found

Each peach pear plum
I spy Tom Thumb.
Tom Thumb fast asleep
I spy Bo-Peep.
Bo-Peep around the corner
I spy Jack Horner.
Jack Horner up a pole
I spy King Cole.
King Cole drinking juice
I spy Mother Goose.
Mother Goose gave a shout
That means you are OUT.

Oh I found it easier to remember ip dip, dog ....etc.  And One potato, two potato...., none of this Robin Hood stuff!

Alf, I think you're getting a little confused with the childrens book -Each Peach Pear Plum by Janet and Allan Ahlberg ... the dipping rhyme goes like so...

Each, peach, pear, plum,
Out goes Tom Thumb;
Tom Thumb won't do,
Out goes Betty Blue;
Betty Blue won't go,
So out goes you.

I'm more confused than ever!!  I didn't think it was a 'dipping rhyme' but does the book go on about someone 'in a cellar, I spy Cinderella, Cinderella at the ball, I spy' someone?!

Did I dream all this as a child?!!

Hehe ... Alf you must have read the book!  it starts off with .. In this book with your little eye, take a look and play I spy .... Each peach pear plum, I spy Tom Thumb... then goes on throughout the book   Three Bears out hunting I spy.....Baby Bunting,  not forgetting the rest of the characters - Mother Hubbard, Cinderella, Bo-Peep, Jack and Jill, the Wicked Witch, AND Robin Hood. 

We have this book in school - a book that all parents should buy or at least borrow from the library - Kids love it. :o)

It is a wonderful book and with excellent pictures through which the child can follow what comes next, before the words start there is a lovely panorama of the countryside and you can see the locations of each page. I�ve read this book scores of times for my daughter and have no difficulty writing this off the top of my head:
