The cloud has cleared so I might get some washing on the line.....I'm not slipping into a summer dress and frolicking in the garden though.......
Not me...I heard only one side of the phone conversation that went thus " No , I tell you, it is exactly the same...apart from the changes I made " . Made me smile, and I would like to enter this man for runner up !
Don't eccles - I slipped on a summer dress and went into the garden last week. Result, one tear and one bleach stain. Hopeless, just hopeless.
Similar thing here, my dear mother had a new kitchen table in 1969, but if the drawer was pulled out more than 2" it was impossible to push it back without a lot of wiggleing. Then when she died and we moved into her house in 1989, the same thing kept happening to me, so I told Mr N to get a new table, he took one look at it, and told me we had put the drawer in the wrong end for all those years, he turned the table round, slotted the drawer in, and hey presto problem solved! I just wish mum was around to see!!!!
Last month I was wearing some pretty knickers with a bow on. The zip on my trousers failed to zip and I was wandering about with the ribbon hanging out of my trousers. Thanks to my colleagues that decided not to mention it, I had to rely on someone staring at me until I figured it out!
Went for a scan for last pregnancy, asked if twins ran in the family and replied 'no'. Got told I was having twins and then remembered that I am actually a twin and had to own up.
