Yes, but you'd look a bit of a pratt sitting at home in a balaclava.

I could turn the electricity off. Double savings and nobody would see me.
But we'd never know you'd done it, because you're web router would go off.

or pretend it was a knitted gimp mask
Question Author
I agree in a balaclava I would look a pratt. But in a knitted gimp mask I'd look like a BDSM trend setter
Depends what colour of thermals.
Question Author
They'd need to be black to match the headgear.
scary !
That's OK then, black will be fine.
I spent some of last year's heating allowance on a duvet jacket and thermals. Not regretting it yet.
My sister just told me she paid 9,000.00 kroners this month for heating.
Question Author
Is that about £900 for just 1 months heating?
That's just for the last month, Sandy. That's a lot!
Question Author
And I was thinking it was costly here to heat a place. Does your sister live in somewhere like Hammerfest up in the Arctic Circle?

She lives in Kristiansand, that's south.
Question Author
That gas seems very cheap. Here in Belfast I thought it was about the same price as oil.
It's only a 3 bedroom semi I'm heating and the oil today should last a fair while. Still, £600 is a good amount.
As an ex Serviceman who toured Northern Ireland 3 times in the 80's I have to say I'm a little perturbed at the thought of sandy from Belfast in a balaclava!
Question Author
A true story. Back in the early 70s my old mother, she was a good age then, had a wig and she'd left it in a drawer where I had a long forgotten beret. The house was searched and the two incriminating items found.
I spent an uncomfortable couple of hours in Hastings St barracks explaining that they weren't a paramilitary disguise.
How did you explain the beret, sandy?
Never had you down as a Toulouse Lautrec so that must have been some story!
LOL
