I abhor any sort of mistreatment to animals, but must admit I couldn't stop myself from chuckling at that.

I have a couple of these hamsters and they go in their wheel together and keep running until one of them flies out. They can be so funny to wach.

Why is it mistreatment? They climbed on of there own accord. If I were a hamster I'd have a go.

I would too. Looks like the hamster equivalent of a fun-fair to me. They certainly look like they're enjoying it.

Let's face it, what else is there to do in there other than grub about in paper shreds full of your fellow hamster's sh!t.

I'm with Snags on this one. The only human intervention is providing the wheel, I didn't see a human hand place either hamster on the wheel.

When it finished one gets off and goes off for some scoff, hardly traumatised....

I'm now going to be told that eating is a classic sign of trauma in hamsters....
