The medical schools use English for diagnostic labels, such as diabetes....

are the two words connected, as in I need first aid because i have diabetes?

I never saw a first aid box during all my time there.

My friend has just told me that First Aid = "Tawaare" or "mousa'adat awwaliyah", and diabetic = "soukkari".

Hope that helps!

soukkari being much the same word as sugar, it seems

God well spotted linguists!

yup soukarri means sugary  [adjective]

awwaliyah is first (also adj)

Are you going to tell us why you need this?

Thank you, I need it as I am going to Egypt for the 1st time and I am a diabetic. We normally go to Tenerife and take a first aid box with us with first aid and diabetic in Spanish on so that the locals know what it is for and we wanted to know the Egyptian Arabic for the same reason.
