Has anyone heard a saying about two good days and a thunderstorm? Is that exactly how it goes?

Haven't heard that one, but the forecasters were talking about one good day causing a thunderstorm for Wimbledon today.

Yes.
This is an old saying.
But thunderstorms don't clear the air like they used to.
One good crack of thunder and the atmosphere grew instantaneously calmer.
Two hot days and a thunderstorm.
