Good morning WBM....I haven't been outside as it feels like the middle of the night. Someone got really drunk last night and I ended up having to sleep on the sofa. I'm going to take great pleasure waking him up for work :-)

Morning Janine. You're welcome. I'm usually up at this time, don't know why 'cos I'm retired! It is, however, the best time of day, it's peaceful and quiet. Soon, when the sunrise is at about this time, the most beautiful dawns can be seen, and all for nothing!

WBM - He made me fall over...lol. He was ok in the pub but as soon as he hit the fresh his legs stopped working.

This has only happened since he gave up smoking...

yes i agre wbm it really can be the best time of day but not when it's comme une vache as it was all day yesterday and looks like being the same for today. maybe if there is a bit of wind it will change with the tide. usually does as we are only about half a mile away from the atlantic.

I slept fine...the alarm woke me up. Now I know what time my son gets up to play COD. He'll be disappointed this morning....

I agree Janine. We are 280 feet above sea level here, so we cop it too! I like the fresh air though.

ummmm what on earth is he drinking? must be strong stuff - nicotine patches - do they contain alcohol? giving up smoking and then falling down doesn't sound quite right. 'imindoors gave up smoking a few years ago and all i can remember is hearing about how good he was not to have smoked for . . . . . . . so many days . . . . . .each day!!

the best thing about this place is the wonderful sea breezes we get, not as high as you but up the top of the hill. our cottage is in a field in the middle of a farm so that will get busy soon, that and the seagulls. not moaning just explaining.

I think it's two years ago since he gave up. It's just that he doesn't get any fresh air anymore until he leaves the pub.I can't be angry with him...we were on the way home when I bumped into an old friend. We had a great time though. Lot's of laughs...then damn that fresh air :-)
