I have a little pile of odd socks in the corner of the spare room. I keep them in the hope that one day I'll come accross the other one and they will be reunited. Where do they go??

I had a pair of red and green socks the last time I emptied my washing machine and at the back of the drum, I had another pair exactly the same :-)

My elderly neighbour told me very proudly a few years ago that she has never lost a single sock in all her married life!! But then she irons face flannels too!!

I put them back in the drawers in case their partner turns up, but they never seem too. I have decided that Mr LL should have identical socks in one colour. It would be easier!!

We used to all have identical black socks until one time eldest Junior O was returning to Uni and he took with him every pair of socks in the house :-(

Talking of odd socks I lost a pair of knickers last week and can't find them anywhere. They were nice ones as well. Do washing machines eat smalls?

I have a tendency to put my knickers in Mr LL's knicker drawer.

Now only last week I found one of those underwires from a bra in the washing machine. I have checked every one of my bras and none has a missing underwire??
