How does one deal with a 92 year old parent who is completely paranoid? They are cutting off her phone so she can't ring the solicitor - we are all against her - ah such a pleasant Easter weekend!

Yep and it can't go on like this zzxxee - if she had been a nice person before all this it might be different but it's her negativity that has her like this. Congrats on job btw

Morning Peri - you have my sympathy - I know what you are going through - after a day with my poor demented Mum and stressed Dad yesterday - I have so many knots in my neck today, not sure which one to untie first.

I do but unfortunately the only person she listens to is my OH (not her own kids) so he is going over to her today for some straight talking. He had to go to his batchelor brother in Wicklow yesterday and several other days to sort put his taxes etc - he seems to be sorting everyone out - all whilst suffering from depression himself - grrrrr
