I'm trying to find an "alternative" last verse to this old ballad - I think it begins - "The service o'er the parson from the pulpit hurried down, and sought the poor old organist e'er he had left the town" ... it goes on to tell the tale of lost years - "My only brother can it be, so long we've lived apart..." etc. Any ideas? Brian.
