If somebody else starts a thread which is later banned will any answers that I give to it come up as banned answers in my profile?

Either that or 14 of my answers have been inappropriate and have been banned.

Why?

stop sending me emails saying i haven't been on ab recently!

It is usually the case that removed threads do not affect poster profile statistics other than those of the author.

I pondered so long over my one word answer that there are two more answers.
