How about a banned questions categhory?

Then people don't have to read them if they don't wanna. Cuz I guess the UK has freedom of speech and freedom of printing

Yeah Bee - many questions are banned because they are sexually explicit, duplicates, not questions, or abusive. A section full of such posts would be most unpleasant and unnecessary, we feel.

The UK has no written constitutional right to free speech, but this site has a few rules (some of which can read on the home page) that hopefully make users' experience a pleasant one.

I do my best to enforce these rules as fairly but firmly as I can.

Thanks for listening.

But if there is a categhory of banned questions only people who choose to enter sees them, an individual choice. Cuz I am pro choice in all its meaning. If you don't like it don't do it but don't force your opinion on others

Also Yeah Bee, you have to remember that this is a family site & some children look for help with home work, etc.

The main point here is that the site is private property.  You may not post here something the Ed. does not like, any more than you can go around sticking posters on people's front windows.  If this was a newspaper and you wrote a "Letter to the Editor", you could not complain if they do not publish it.  There is freedom of expression in the Human Rights Act but it simply means (e.g.) supposing you publish a political newspaper, the State or Government cannot shut you down if your paper opposes the Government. The limited company that owns the AB is not subject to the same obligation.

That's about the size of it, Hgrove. Thanks!
