mp3 wont play ripped cd's

Hi as in title, I have a sansa e280 mp3 player, it suddenly will not sync albums that have been ripped and converted. It is fine with other music obtained not quite as legally in the past, it is also struggling with downloads.

If anyone can offer any advice on this i would be most grateful

what are you using to rip the CD's??

whatever software it is check you are ripping to MP3's (and not WMA for example if you use media player)
