Hotel rendezvous in skipton yorkshire and had an amazing weekend... hotel spot on , breakfast excellent , staff lovely and very helpful ,
well recommended by me... : )

Been there with my ex a couple of years ago sorry i wasnt particularly impressed,had a thing on the wall saying to save energy dont use all the towels they provided,yet gallons of water must have been used in the sunken baths,for that kind of money would use everyuthing and anything that was going begging,and our room stunk like a old ashtray,yet again could have got better after 2 years!!!

1 post office 1 pub and loads of country air
we always went to layburn for a day out

Hi harry, its a gorgeous place and the people were lovely, my nanna was from yorkshire and my mum was born there , its a shoppers paradise as well : )

yorkshire folk are hard to please they say how they feel sometimes too much!they say us scottish are tight lol,but a yor\shireman even surpasses us!!!

We met some " born and bred in yorkshire " and they were lovely...
all this twaddle about "yorkshire " "scottish " "welsh " are blah blah blah is ridiculous - you cant put people into catagorised types as we are our own person , wherever people are from doesnt make me think oh he must be tight / a boozer etc its the person not the place

Right patricia you have only visited there believe me i and my ex went to run a pub in yorkshire we had hate mail from the locals, my ex was a scouser and i from scotland, they wanted to know why a yorksireman wasnt running the pub!!!!
