Well it's Saturday and my bl00dy cat decided that I should be up at 5.30!!
It's supposed to be like summer today so anyone doing anything nice this weekend?

Morning beejay - I boubt that many people will be up and about (not if they're sensible) I wouldn't mind be she had already woken me at 2.30 too!
It's good just to have a weekend free - as you say, go with the flow.

bensmum-yup it takes them a while to surface on saturdays(ab regulars that is) -i cant lie on after i waken-might even be a good thing--clear but overcast here

Morning!! Was woken up half hour ago by my 4year old who has now happily gone back to bed! I couldn't get to sleep and my fidgeting was waking up Mr daffi, so I decided to get up.
Weather is gorgeous already here this morning!
Plans for today, go food shopping with my mum this morning, watch the Chelsea v Man U game on tv. Hopefully pick my Step Dad up from hospital if they release him today, take my son to his friends birthday party later and while he is there take my daughter for a wander round town and get some tea while we are out, then cosy night in with Mr daffi. x

I hope it is going to be a hot day today. I went to bed quite ill as I broke my diet and ate loads of crap. Today is a new day and I am more than happy to go back to my healthy living although I may be drinking some nice wine tonight x

Thats a lie in that is! My daughter decided that we should be up much earlier than that.

This weekend I shall be mostly doing DIY bits and pieces and entertaining a friend who is up visiting from daaan saath.

btw, my lazy arsed cat is still asleep in his bed, so be assured that not all are early risers. I should think mine might consider strolling to his food bowl (about 3 paces from his bed) in a couple of hours or so.

Normally I would agree that 5.30 is a lie in but today is the first day in weeks that I haven't had to go to work and I was looking forward to sleeping in a bit longer!
Invisible - not all cats are as bad. Mine is pretty old (18) and is a bit senile and deaf.
I am from daaan saath octavius - lovely here at present.
Right - off to Tesco now to take the aged parent shopping!

Morning Bensmum. I am glad you have just given us the weather forecast. I am going into Lytham with Tilly and didnt know what to wear. You have just saved me from putting a sweater and trousers on and I bought Tilly a new dress last week which she can wear with a bolero.

We are very excited at this moment in time. A user on here has just told me about the attraction to WW2 memorabilia to which my dad has from my Grandfather who fought in WW2. We are going to Ebay it. Dad says Tilly can have half the money for her trip to USA.

No, not because i drank too much wine last night.This morning i woke up and starred into the eyes of a huge spider. I screamed, Mr kola jumped out of his skin but then managed to catch the intruder and throw it out of the window but a ablackbird immediately swooped down and gobbled it up. Oooohhh, now i feel like a terrible person.
