Morning All

Farmer Giles has come a calling at my back door, ha, ha, ha!

Now my question is, will he leave of his own accord or will I have to employ some eviction tactics?

Hope all you lovely ladies are keeping fine and bumps are big.

Piglet is called Alexandra but is Lexi to us.

ooooooh beautiful name! it conjures up pictures of such a pretty and sweet little girl.

Hope you are on way to recovery after your shockingly quick birth, well done you mummy!!

OK, farmers, are they internal or external? for external Prep H is good, as is olive oil apparently. They should go down fairly quickly if you eat lots of fibre and keep fluid intake up. It was pressure of baby and pushing that caused them so not that cause has gone all should be ok within a few weeks
Anal sex sometimes works
pmsl.
Question Author
Cheers redcrx, they are external so will get some prep h.

As for labour, woke at 4.30 and was surfin the net, had some pain at 5 and rang hosp, they told me to have a hot bath, take 2 tablets, get some sleep and have breakfast then call them back. Pain got worse so called them again at 5.30 and got told the same thing. At 6 decided that enough was enough and just went to hosp, booked in at 6.50 and Lexi arrived at 7.40, no time for drugs, grrrrrr. But not stitches so all good.

Hows you? Also who is next? Dont know how often I will be on in the next wee while but will try and have a look now and again.
Myriad you have such a lovely way with words.lmao
Question Author
LOL,Thanks Myriad, but I am not accepting deliveries!!!!!!!
hey, no stitches is excellent as usually a quick delivery can cause a few tears! well done. Sounds like a great birth. Gonne have any more??

Mountainboo is next isnt she? it might be a close run thing between her and Nat and maybe even me.

Can understand why you wont be about much, you enjoy every minute with Lexi and take lots of pics. If you wanna swap email addys via the PM on sports then Id love to see one.
Hey WP, can't help re farmer's I'm afraid, but just wanted to say what a lovely name Alexandra is, and Lexi is lovely. Am so happy for you (especially because you were able to share a good birth story and not a horrific one that is going to scare the pants off me!) XX

Just to echo Red, it would be great to see a pic of your lil one - either red has my email which I am happy for her to pass on, or I am on facebook on the AB page. I have never really been on Sportsbank but could play around at home to PM :-)

Love to you and your new family xx
Question Author
Having any more!!!!!! Ha, ha, doubt it, but now the birth is a distant memory who knows. What a difference a few days make.

Have sent 4get an email to forward to you.

Will keep an eye out on who goes next as and when I can.

Take good care of yourselves.

thank you warpig, will look out for it.

Isnt it amazing how the memory fades so quickly, i know childbirth hurt but cant remember how much it hurt.
Question Author
thanks Nat, it wasn't quite like the 'tickling with feathers' experience I wanted but not too bad in the scheme of things, thank god.

Will post some pics as soon as I find out how to do it, could be a while mind you. Redcrx will have my email addy later so she can pass it on.

One thing I will say about the birth and Redcrx has said it before, breathing exercises, they really helped me to focus and also while focusing on them I wasn't thinking about everything else so much.

Take care
warpig
breathe in through your nose and out through you mouth isnt it? It really helped me get through 6 hours without gas and air.

will send the email on to Natalie when i get it xx
Morning warpig , that's a common problem hun and will Farmer Giles , as nasty as he is , doesn't usually hang round for too long . Try to , as redcrx says , eat plenty fibre and fluids . Alexandra is a beautiful name and Lexi is a delightful shortening . :-) xxxxx
Question Author
thanks bigmamma, cant believe she is only 6 days old! seems like she has been here much, much longer!

As for farmer Giles, never had them before but had a bath and somehow my 'bum' felt bigger when I sat down if you know what I mean, lol. shall go and have my weetabix now, fibre, sorted!

xxx
Awww , you poor soul , try not to have your bath too warm , for obvious reasons honey xxxxx
Question Author
Heh, heh, heh, they'd be poached then bigmamma!
Hee , gosh yes warpig , any heat to them and they will swell like a bunch of grapes !!!!
Have you not got your swimming ring then Warpig!!

sure they used to recommend them! :-) xx
Question Author
Hi PF, wish I had one! Fortunately they aren't too bad, just an unwelcome visitor.
LADIES! Please remember that some of us have all this to look forward to yet......
