Why pick on me? What's wrong with my neighbours - why is MY flat the one you all make a beeline (geddit?) for when you're looking for a good time?

One thing about moths - they're always around at night aren't they, looking for every scrap of light they can find. "Ooh, there's a faint flicker of a bedside lamp - let's got bop our heads on it incessantly for hours". But if they're that obsessed with light... why don't the lazy buggers just get up in the daytime?
Would you go to disco during the day (ooops showing my age now !)

yes, and what did they do before electricity was invented?
No but I also don't fly around the "discotheque" nutting every light I see.
Usually moths go for the moon (I think its for steering reasons or orientation. whatever you like best). so every lightbulb is just some kind of moon to them they of course try to use. for apparent reasons their program does not give an answer to "what do I do if I constantly hit it?" as for ants and flies, I think not being filthy did the trick for me :-) and whats a gnat?
