So my lady wife and I were chatting over tea and crumpets about the state of the nation, rising interest rates etc, and got to talking about names for lady bits. Now there are dozens, but my question is this - are there any that don't sound medical, gross, bloody rude or just silly? I mean, what would you suggest as a realistic descriptive word that we could adopt as the metaphor for hers? Note that she's ruled out vagina as an ugly word.

Panty hamster....thats my favourite.
The one name that i have heard it called that seems to fit all your criteria is, TUSH.
i had this conversation at work a while ago with a male colleague.i like the term lady garden and the worst one we came up with was "hairy axe wound" (and that is wound as in sore and not wound as in wound the clock up!!!).we thought nobody else was around until an elderly and very prim female member of staff popped her head over the top of her computer and enquired,"have we covered beaver?".still cant look her in the eye!!
Mufty
tush is your arse isnt it?
No Goodsoulette, its a fanny.
lap kebab
"Roadkill" seems appropriate.

No your fanny is lady bits...marvel man you must be american and whickerman I believe is Irish. I dunno Americans just dont use English properly, tut tut tut.
Ohhhh I get you now, you;re saying a tush is a fanny. I have only heard tush as an arse.

canine teeth or buttocks

canine teeth buttocks derriere arse etc etc
When my five year old niece forgets to sit like lady I tell her that her "patooty" is hanging out. This has evolved in "Petunia", thus in our female only household, we now use petunia.

I am American and we use both fanny and tush to denote the backside.
tush is Yiddish for bum; can't say I've ever heard it used for fanny. Fanny has moved backwards in America. The have fanny packs instead of bum bags, but they probably shouldn't mention them in mixed company in Britain. Prat sometimes means front in Britain and back in the USA too (as in pratfall)
Society dictates that we (women) cant really comfortably talk about out bits. I certainly dont talk about mine to my friends and if my partner ever talked about it to his mates he would be dumped, more than likely. That is why you wont find a word that is suitable.
there's really no female equivalent of willy, a sort of comfortable halfway between obscene and Latin. Fanny's probably the nearest.
If she's ruled out vagina as an ugly word you're doomed. However, 'front bits' (although too similar), 'wiggly woos' and 'lady bottoms' are all words you may want to try.

'Wiggle your woo over here' would surely be the turn on of all turn ons??????
