It depends on different types of relationships. Because there are people that are so close and rely on the other that they cant live a day without them but then there are other couples that are still close but are very independent so it wouldnt really matter how long they are away from eachother. What type would you say you are?

well we see eachother everyday as we are engaged and he practicaly lives at my house because i live alone! but if i need space he gives it to me ad if he needs space i give it to him ! but we have been together for nearly 4 years now and i still love him loads! somedays i will be glad to have a day away from him (not in a nasty way) but some days i cant stand him not been there! i dont no how im gonna do it for 2 weeks and i want to enjoy myslef on holiday but i will feel guilty cos iv left him behind does this make sense or am i been silly?
you sound like you have a solid relationship - the only times i have missed bfs was when I distrusted them! Just think how fun it will be to share all the things you've done separately once you are back together.

when you put it like metagirl i sounds ok! i trust him im just gonna miss him!x
late night sexy phone calls are always well received, too!
the times you will miss him most are bedtimes. It's when you are tired, and therefore prone to be more reflective, and sad, so arrange any phone-calls to be made late when you are both alone. See how the conversation goes .......!

lol @ metagirl might give that a go to
Yes, yes, yes!!!

It does. It does. It does!!!

Sam, you will have a lovely time away and your heart will be full of loveliness upon your return, i'm sure of it.

In my experience, absence really does make my heart grow fonder... and the anticipation of seeing him after your time away will be wonderful!

Have a lovely holiday :0)
Yes, and what do I always say to you, Sam? 'Out of sight, out of mind!' :o)

Only kidding, babe. You're going to have such a fab time. You'll hardly be sitting there with nothing to do, I bet he'll miss you lots more than you, him! Trust me, babe, I've gone six weeks without seeing the bf before.

Love ya!! Mwah x
My hubby works away a fair bit and yes, i have to say, its always nice when we haven't seen each other even if its only been a couple of days. Quite recently he had to work in France for 6 days and i missed him terribly towards the end of that week. That was the longest we have spent apart in 11 years. Have a great time and think about how great it will be when you get home ;-)
