My daughter is her first year of 'A' Levels. She would like undertake a business studies degree with french when she leaves. Does anyone know which universities would be good for this? She is likely to come away with the following: Religious Studies AS Level, English, Maths, French and Business Studies at A Level and possibly also AS Level Criticial Thinking. At this stage, she is open to either moving away from home or staying close. We live in East London. Thanks in advance.

If you look at the UCAS website:

http://www.ucas.com

Then you can do a search for different degrees, or search for specific areas. Obviously it depends on your daughters grades as to which Uni she might think about applying for, but there is a Point Tariff Calculator to help her work out expected grade points then look at the entry requirements for each Uni. There are also links to each University website.

Hope that helps! :o)

Or buy Brain Heaps uni guide book which lists the uni's, the courses, and loads of useful info.

Northumbria Uni (in Newcastle) is good for Business Studies with French - but quite a way from East London. Its also a great City, but I'm biased.

strathclyde/ glasgow caledonian have fantastic business schools
