I have a single tuner tv recorder. Is there a device I can attach to enable me to watch one channel while recrding another?

If you mean you have a single aerial cable and standard video input e.g the aerial into video and cable from video to tv then you can get a aerial splitter and run one cable into the video (taping) and one into tv on different channel.If that's any help.
