I found a biscuit barrel and can"t seem to find out much about it, on the bottom there is W&R Store on Trent, Carlton Ware, Carnation, Rgn No. 30945, 1732 R. I would like to find out the history/origin of this?

There is some information about the makers Wiltshaw and Robinson here:

Carnation is a line that they did in their Carlton ware range.
There is quite a bit on the net about them.
