I guess we all have fads on different foods now and again, so do you have a present one. I've gone a little crazy on Sainsbury's Medjool Dates over the last few weeks.

I've started to favour rice a lot just lately. Couldn't believe Aldi's cheap price, it was either 45p 49p the one you do in the microwave in 2mins it tastes just fine. Most other brands are a £1 and above.

Snackwise Mini Chedders, I forgot how moreish they are.

Its It's 3 for £6.  Not too expensive.  Each container is 350 grams.

Unusually for me cheesecake,   currently working through a lemon and lime one,  at least my recipe is pretty much sugar free

Eating Oatibix flakes straight from the box.

Can't stop once I start.

Think they were a thread a few days ago about favourite puddings Strawberry Cheesecake was going to be mine but suddenly felt hungry.... and forgot

LU petit beurre biscuits - one is never enough 😋

Coronation Chicken.

Sainsbury chicken noodle cup- a -soup.

Frozen raspberries. No, I don't defrost them. Add a bit of double cream and it's just as good as ice cream.

I did a nigella recipe using medjool dates a few weeks ago - lovely

Morrison's mini cheddar cheese hash browns. (Tater tots?). Very moreish

I've been cooking fresh bubble and squeak for the last few weeks. Didn't have it for years  then suddenly thought of it.  Im using ready prepared kale for quickness and a deeper green. Can't wait for leftovers. 😋

Gosh I've been looking at those mejool dates for weeks resisting temptation ,think I'll have to get some next time 😋

I'm into home made soups at the moment using homemade stock. I got a 'soup a day' cookery book from the Covent Garden soup company and it does have a different soup for every day of the year.

Idahoan perfect mash .

Never really fancied sushi until recently...now we're working our way through Waitrose's extensive range, two lunches a week (but avoiding any wasabi!).

I've cooked a few curries lately as I have perfected my recipe with some tweaking over the years.  It is now bang on how I want it to be.

I really must get a whitebait fix soon.  We're going to Dorset at the end of July but I don't honestly think I can wait that long.

I love those Medjool dates. I remove the stone, insert half a walnut inside and coat them in milk chocolate.  I usually only make them at Christmas time - they are to die for!

Marmite crisps. Hadn't seen them for ages, now it's a packet a day
