I bought a stylus pen for my Kindle Fire and it didn't work.

I got some new batteries because quite often the battery is at fault when you get something new.

Still not working. Going to send back but Amazon says return window closed 12th February. Which is unusual,other earlier orders are still open.

Question is what can I do now? How do I get in touch with Amazon? This pen is not cheap.

Not all screens work with all stylus.

When did you buy it and is the seller Amazon or a market place retailer?

The window for return is in case you didnt like the item.

You still have rights if the item breaks or it is not fit for purpose.

Meant to work with ny Kindle Fire. Son has identical one which does work on my screen.

Bought from Amazon but no means of returning it now. As I said, return window closed 12th Feb even though I only bought it in January.

Don't want to bother son as he has enough on his plate.

My son confirmed with Amazon that it is compatible.

I have just contacted Amazon by phone and live?? chat. Both times didn't speak to a person.

Keep saying I cannot return it which is a ripoff as it doesn't work!

Does your stylus work on your son's Fire?

This year, barry. Don't know exactly when as it was originally bought by my son last May. It was faulty by Christmas so he sent it back and dealt with it all, IT is his job.

No stylus doesn't work at all.

No warranty details as made in China. No joy contacting Amazon.

Think I will write a bad review see if they take notice.

Won't bother my son as he is awaiting op for bowel cancer and don't want to bother him with trivialities.

I don't like being ripped off.

I have found an email address for them on Google so will see what response I get from that.

If I get no joy I will not be buying from them again.

Tell them that you have a right to a replacement or repair under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 as it is faulty and you bought it less than six months ago.  Tell them it has never worked.

You should be able to return the item without any proble.

There is also the option to report an issue on the page on Barry's link.  It mentions 30 days return, it's strange that your return period is shorter.

Anyway it was supposed to still be working.

I have always found Amazon easy to deal with.
