Have I Upset My Friend?

I maybe being paranoid but I sent my friend a pic and video of a dog that is getting put to sleep from a dogs home where I volunteer she messaged back asking why did I send her that she not spoken since do you think she not speaking to me over it?

I had told her about the dog before as I do when I walk them now I feel so bad

Apologise for being insensitive and perhaps think before taking an action in future

if you feel this has caused a temporary rift, then perhaps tell her that you didn't realise she was the oversensitive type, that is your error, and promise not to send her anything related to your job again.

That's an odd thing to do, imo.  Nicer to send pic of dogs enjoying the great outdoors?

Abbey, I'm not clear if the video was actually of the vet putting the dog to sleep, or was the video taken before this happened ? I, too would not want to see the former.

Were you perhaps hoping your friend would adopt it so it would not be put to sleep?

It was very insensitive of you to send her that picture.  You did not consider first how she might feel, seeing the picture of the living dog and knowing he was about to be put to death.  

Try to develop some empathy for the feelings of others.

One difference from most of us, Floko, is that abbey seems to have been using her real full name on here, tells us who her employer is, and someone said she had posted photos of herself in different outfits she owns.
