Morning, Emmie. It's going up to 12 here today...Wow. double digits. I'm sitting here watching the live camera on Bourbon Street, and there are lots of sailors, ratings and officers, having a few hi-jinks on a night out...More fun than watching TV.

Yes, I see that, but that's not quite the same thing is it? Plans for today, not really. Just some more mundane clean-up around the place and maybe some paper-work to sort out...Really exciting! You ready for your mini-adventure on Friday?

Monday next is my appointment at the hospital... the 25th.

i shredded all my old diaries yesterday, there were at least 20 from years ago, a laborious task if ever there was one.

Morning, Arrods. Yes, Emmie, why would you shred a written history of 20 years of your life?

On reflection I can see a number of reasons why one would want to shred diaries. I shouldn’t really have asked Emmie. Sorry.

i did so as they are to open to interpretation, and contain some revelations on love, life and the conceit of youth, plus they could be read and i didn't want that so they had to go. no worries about asking, its a fair question....
what you up to today?

I quite understand Emmie. I never kept a diary but bizarrely I’ve just started to document my life, not the personal stuff, just stories, anecdotes etc from early years.

they would have taken an age to read, and quite honestly that part of my life is over and done with, so they had to go.

[emmie]

its already light, and another sunny day is on by the looks of it.

Nothing much on today, but this evening we’re having dinner with some friends’ friends one of whom apparently sang with the Platters in the eighties, so that should be interesting.
